Equine Vaccination Certificates

21st Century Technology meets Equine Medical Record Keeping

electronic vet cloud solutions
The eVET Certificate is the first comprehensive online vaccination record.
It was developed to promote horse welfare and provides a solution to problems arising from paper records. Electronic Vet’s eVET Certificate was designed to meet the ever-growing needs of horse show venues that are requiring timely immunizations as well as test results prior to competition. Our easy-to-use solution is a cloud-based vaccination record that veterinarians fill out, entering their information, the horse and owner information, as well as the vaccines/ test results given at the time they are treating the horse. The eVET Certificate is comprehensive enough to document all of the vaccinations recommended by the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), as well as Coggins test results.

Innovative

The eVET Certificate is leading the way in online records. It meets the vaccine documentation requirements of all US horse shows and is accepted by most every major competition.

Secure

Our record platform allows only VERIFIED and APPROVED vets to update vaccination records, ensuring system integrity.

Easy To Use

All of our records can be accessed from any mobile device or desktop computer, allowing for ease-of-use and to-date access for the entire vaccination history for a given horse.

Accurate

By allowing for vaccination information to be entered at the point of treatment, our unique system cuts down on workload and increases accuracy with an easy-to-use mobile interface.

Vaccine Database

Our online database contains all vaccines given from the time the first vaccines are entered. For example, if a horse is vaccinated in January and then needs another immunization later in the year, the January vaccination will show up, along with the most recent vaccines/ tests. Horses are identified by photos, registration numbers (USEF, FEI, Passport etc), and unique marking description. Registration into the system only has to be done once. The information entered on the certificate can be printed out and brought with the horse to the show, emailed to the show office in a PDF form, or can be accessed directly by the show office staff. Once your horse is registered, any vaccine updates are easily entered. Our records are designed to meet the requirements of all shows. No need to fill out separate forms for each event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my horse need a vaccination certificate?

Over the last few years, outbreaks of extremely contagious equine infections have arisen, and shows have had to quarantine multiple horses for prolonged periods of time. Some of the infections can also be life threatening. Many shows require that horses have not shown symptoms of or have been treated for EHV 1, 4 or any other contagious disease within the past 28 days. Documentation must also be shown indicating horses have not been at a facility under quarantine for EHV 1, 4 or exposed to any horses showing symptoms of EHV 1, 4 within the past 28 days.

How much does it cost?

We charge a nominal $25.00 per year per horse fee. Yes, it really is that cheap...But only for a limited time.

Why does my vet have to input the information?

To preserve the integrity of vaccination history, only licensed Veterinarians can enter horse information, as well as any vaccines given.

Why do we need pictures?

Many horses look similar, and although they have unique names and registration numbers, horses can be mistaken for one another. It is important to have an accurate tracking system to ensure that data is secure, efficient, and accurate.

What if I sell my horse?

You can transfer ownership of your horse to another Electronic Vet User, or you can simply delete your horse and all associated data. It really is that easy.
